Troops at Iraq

Why is there still a war between Iraq and the Americans. There is a new president so why are the Americans still risking innocent lives to be lost to a war? I beleive that Barrack Obama should take out all of the troops in Iraq and start a new peacekeeping thing to save Americans/Canadians. Why is there a battle between them still going on when Bush isn't the President anymore. Should Canadians have to fight in this war that the Americans have created?

Tazors acceptable for policemen?

In the past, there have been some incidents with tazors. This is because some people who go partying or do drugs, or drink & drive lose their minds so much that they can't follow simple orders. Becasue of this Policemen have to use their tazors so they can't run away or drive away. Now, Should policemen be aloud to use their tazors? There have been some deaths in the past due to tazor related busts. Personally, I think that Policemen should be able to use tazors on people who disrespect the athority, or the law a violant manner. But not with such high voltage. There have been some cases with Policemen being banned in some cities/countrys/states. Some people have been critically injured due to tazors and some killed, but that doesn't stop the police to not use the tazor. It really is a very usefull weapon for the police to suduce the criminals but not with such high voltage. What do you think?

Avril (continued)

Ok so, if you have red, my (Avril Accused), you might notice that Avril in my opinion went from a good person, to a horrible person. Yes, that's true in many ways, but why souldn't I hate her? She has been sued for multiply copyright infringments and only had to pay a fine. Why would you fine her? She makes lots of money to begin with, so what's the point if she can easily pay it off. She has denied many claims that she copywrote songs, but as we all know, comparing the two songs "Hey, Hey, You, You" by Avril and "I Wana Be Your Boyfriend" by the Rubinoos, you can just see how much of a lier Avril Lavigne is.

Barrack Obama!

There is a new President of the United States of America!, and he is an African American. Now, most people think "Woah, a black president?" Well, it's true Barrack Obama won the 2008 Presidentical election. Some say that it could be a big upgrade in Americans today, but some people think it's going to go all downhill. Personally, I would vote for Barrack rather then McCain. I think there will be many changes in American history and how laws are writen but in all, I beleive that Barrack Obama will be on of the best American Presidents there will ever be.

Avril Accused!!

Im sure we all know that Avril is a pop/rock/punk singer. Although she is famous for the music she rights, have you ever thought that maybe, JUST maybe she copyrighted those songs? Well, there have been many cases with Avril being accused of copyright, but have you ever noticed how close the two songs really are? For example "The Rubnioos" The lyrics are just about the exact same, the tempo is just sped up, and the rythem is basically identical! Just by this information, many people think Avril is a cheating scum, and shouldn't be able to receive money from something that she didn't even write. By what i learned, i believe that the copyright has been broken from the first song. Avril has plagerized in many ways and this has effected her career. Becasue of these copyright acts, there are many new images for Avril Lavigne. Perhaps Avril is living a lie.

Need for Speed?

I'm guessing we all know the game Need for Speed? Well, when you really look at it, you might not know but it could be very bad for your children to watch/play. When you see the cover of the game Need for Speed, you sell 2 very nice cars racing and heading right into a truck. Now, when you you look closly you can see that there is only not enough space for both of the cars to go through. Now you should ask yourself, "Will my children get the infulence and try to drive like that?" I don't know if you like the game or not, but it's like many true stories, where a kid gets addicted to a game, and thinks he can do that in real life, and get away. But that's where they are wrong. Many kids/adults have done this. So should the companies make the game less violent or should they just stop making the games? You choose!

Here'ssss Britney!

So far in our media class, we have been talking about Britney Spears and how she is having some "comeback". We have also been discussing the fact that the paparazzi is going to far with thier comments about Birtney Spears and the pictures. Yes, we should all agree that Britney Spears had her ups and downs but really, when you ask yourself "who really doesn't have them?" Personally I have discovered that after acouple of horrific concerts from Britney Spears, I think she has been making a big improvement. We all know that the paparazzi will do anything for a crazy photo of a celebrity. The celebrities really don't want to be followed by "stupid" paparazzi they say. The paparazzi are getting paid from $1 to sometimes $50,000! From what we already know, the paparazzi are obviously going for crazy photos such as the one where Britney Spears isn't wearing any underwear. Or when Britney Spears shaved her head. When you see Britney Spears as a role model for young children, and than you see her with her drug/drinking addictions you really start to think, "what if that's my daughter or son when they grow up?"
